Registration Information

Little Aquanauts
Little Aquanauts is a program for swimmers age 8 and under. These 30-minute daily sessions are intended for swimmers that learning to swim and are working towards swimming one full length of the pool (25m) continuously. Swimmers must be able to swim at least 12.5m unassisted.

Aquanauts

60-minute daily program for swimmers that are focusing on improving their endurance and developing their technical ability in all four of the main strokes. This is the group where the majority of AHA swimmers will register. Training groups will be organized by coaches based on technical ability and commitment to the sport. All Aquanauts are strongly encouraged to attend regional swim meets to see individual progress, participate in team relays, and foster team spirit!

High Performance Aquanauts

Registration to this group is by coach recommendation/invitation. This 90-minute daily program is geared towards older and experienced AHA swimmers that have demonstrated a high level of commitment to the sport and are consistently training at a Provincial qualifier level. Senior Competitive swimmers from previous seasons are encouraged to register in this group. HP Aquanauts are highly should be attending all practices, including morning swims and dryland training and are highly encouraged to attend all swim meets, including Regionals and Provincials.

AHA Swim Club is hiring!

The Agassiz-Harrison Aquanauts Swim Club is accepting resumes for all coaching positions for the 2024 Summer competitive season.

AHA Swim Club is looking for enthusiastic individuals that are passionate about swim! We are looking for coaches that have a background in competitive swimming or coaching in a competitive swimming environment and love working with kids of all ages and abilities.

Do you enjoy being part of a team, have strong leadership skills, and can engage and strive for improvement in all swimmers, from beginner to Provincial qualifier?

Do you know someone who would be an awesome swim coach?

National Lifeguard
National Lifesaving SI (Swim Instructor)

Please note, can all swimmers in all programs log into your Swimmers Portal to click “attending” or “not attending” for each meet and click “save”.
This information is important for the Coaches to know the swimmers intentions for Meets throughout the Season.

Volunteering at Swim Meets
All families who join the BC Summer Swim Club Association contribute to the success of the program through Volunteerism.

Please find out how you can help to ensure our Club and Region can hold meets for our swimmers. There are tasks for everyone’s ability and availability!

AHA is looking to add to our coaching team and we are now accepting resumes for the 2022 Summer Season.

We put the fun into competitive summer swimming. If you love working with kids and youth, have previous coaching or swimming experience, and you LOVE to cheer your swimmers on, we want to talk to you!
AHA coaches work in a collaborative group and are well supported and encouraged by the executive team. We are looking for high-energy individuals who love the sport of swimming and are passionate about maintaining a supportive and FUN environment that meets the needs of all swimmers, from recreational to competitive.
